and fun loving teens.
This blog is set up to showcase their talents and to develop their viewpoints on certain issues that might interest or affect them. In addition, the blog is also used for english lessons and importantly, a platform for Cool Dees to UNITE!
Definitely no immature nonsense or language on this blog.. the people of Cool Dees...guarantees it.
Rules of the blog:
1) Flaming or vulgar & personal harmful remarks are definitely a No-no. This only reflects the immaturity of the author. We are all civilised & educated people.. Only barbarians & animals do that.
2) Respect all viewpoints. Be polite in your blog entries. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There is no need to take it personally. It's just a discussion.
3)Show responsiblity for the class blog. Show responsiblity unless you do not want to be part of the Cool Dees. Treat it with respect & give it a little TLC.
4) Proper English is preferred... as this is a learning platform too. This will help the Cool Dees to get better in their writing talent each day.
Any misconduct or misuse will be seriously dealt with and will be struck off from the coveted list of Cool Dees.

Good luck for your mid year examinations... as this is the first time you are taking one during secondary school.
Anyway.. is nothing different like PSLE just to be reminded of a few things:-
1) Bring all your stationary, no borrowing of stationary during exam. 2) Once in the exam room, put your bag at the front of the class, take all necessary things, and sit at your allocated desk. Remain silent to allow invilgilator to start. 3) When finished, remain silent until inviligator collects ALL the scripts and count them. 4) Wait for instruction from invilgator

Dear Cool Dees,
I was wondering whether how many of you read the newspaper article behind the class about the "Girls Gone Wild" , slashing of wrists etc.
Any comments about it? It has come to my knowledge that some of you know that your peers/friends are enagaged in this activity and you have kept mum about it.
It is very disturbing that this is happening.. keeping quiet about things gone wrong is a rather irresponsible thing to do. Are you saying that it is acceptable?Hopefully, you can differentiate between the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do, and look after yourself properly.
Often peer pressure is too great...but you overcome it. You are definitely on the right track. Friends at your age are important... As friends, sometimes you have to tell your friends what they do not want to hear just for their own good. They might not know that it is good for them now and you might feel terrible for scolding him/her. But in time to come, I guarantee you that they will thank you for making a difference.
P/s: For those who know of peers whom you think needs help (regardless of whether she/he is from the class, do let me know privately.
